Our Imaging Suite supports the provision of electron, visible light, scanned probe microscopy and even Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). These technologies allow for medical devices and products to be tested and analysed in extreme detail, to ensure all defects are eliminated during prototyping. The Imaging Suite facility is completely integrated into our full range of analytical, experimental, and technical services.
Becky works with Dr Adam Varney in the Microbiology team, overseen by Dr Samantha McLean. Current projects include testing and validation for medical devices, air flora testing and analysis, water sampling testing and analysis and antimicrobial drug testing and development.
Amy works with clients in Biosciences and Genomics to provide bespoke testing and analysis services. Amy has strong experience working with clinical research organisations and is very familiar with providing excellent services to suit the client’s needs. Amy has attended several training sessions and conferences with Miltenyi Biotec and is proficient in using their cutting-edge equipment such as the CliniMACS Prodigy.
Graham is a Technical Specialist delivering imaging services from the Imaging Suite at MTIF. The Imaging Suite supports the provision of electron, visible light, and scanned probe microscopy and associated spectroscopy services for commercial, research and teaching purposes.
MTIF’s Containment Level 2 Microbiology Lab is home to our Microbiology team who have a wealth of expertise in undertaking contractual work for clients.
The lab was awarded a Silver LEAF award for sustainability, is certified CL2 for safety and fosters cutting-edge research in a secure environment.
