CHEATA support organisations to develop and commercialise new products and devices, offering advice on regulatory compliance and how to establish a compelling value proposition ahead of going to market.
Health Innovation East Midlands
Health Innovation East Midlands support a network of partners from across the healthcare sector to identify, test and administer new technologies and better ways of working.
Working in collaboration with the NHS, public health organisations, researchers, patients and industry, Health Innovation East Midlands aim to save the NHS money and generate economic growth, as well as empower health professionals, and improve the experiences and outcomes of patients.
Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust
The largest employer in Nottinghamshire and one of the busiest NHS Trusts in the country, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust have an international reputation for specialist services in areas including stroke, renal, neurosciences, cancer services and trauma.
Clinical research is a fundamental part of their work and they host hundreds of clinical research studies, including approximately 250 complex clinical trials every year. They also host two centres of excellence for translational research in biomedical sciences and clinical research.

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust
University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is home to the newest hospital in the East Midlands, The Royal Derby Hospital. It offers one of the largest Trauma and Orthopaedic services in the country and is also the regional centre for bariatric surgery.
The Trust also manages the Derby Clinical Trials Support Unit, offering support with a variety of trial sizes and designs, from single-centre feasibilities through to multi-centre, interventional, randomised controlled trials.
