Roles and Responsibilities

Demosthenes (Demos) Koutsogeorgis is an Associate Professor of Photonic Technologies at Nottingham Trent University (NTU). He has over 20 years of experience in R&D projects, with academia and industry, on laser processing of thin‐film materials. Projects led by Demos lie in the scientific area of materials science for nanotechnology applications in plasmonics, electronics and light emitting devices. Applications span several industries including those of photovoltaics, data storage, security and authentication, medical devices, optoelectronics, thin film transistors, quantum computing, displays, smart coatings, functional materials.
